Why you should keep playing

Play. Do you play? Or have you shut off that part of you because you’re ‘adulting’ now?

As artists, shouldn’t we be looking to play to keep us creating? Keep us flexible/adaptable in our performances? Keep us engaged with our imagination?

Then why do some of us stop playing? Watching kids create stories and scenes in a playground is sooo cool. They don’t stop to think that someone is judging them, or they’re ‘not doing it right’ - they just use their imagination and go with it.Ahhhh…sounds freeing. Sounds FUN.

I encourage you to play, Maniacs. We all have one or two friends that like to explore, goof around or just build some lego! You’ll be surprised (or maybe you won’t) how good it feels to lose yourself in play. You’ll free yourself up to create more when bringing your VO characters to life!

And by the way, if there’s anyone that still wants to give Twister a go, lemme know, I’ve still got mine. ️
